The annual Clermont Parade will begin Saturday at 11 a.m. at the corner of Raceway Road and Crawfordsville Road. Around that time, the Clermont Police Department will be blocking off Raceway Road as the parade entries line up. The parade will start off by heading east on Crawfordsville Road. Crawfordsville Road will be closed between Raceway and Tansel Road, where the parade route will turn south on Tansel toward Kathleen Avenue. Unlike previous years, the parade will proceed east down Kathleen Avenue to Robey Elementary School, where it will end. These sections of road will be closed during the parade and will reopen as the parade exits the area. Please be patient, wait it out, seek alternative routes, or join your neighbors in the festivities.
The parade is expected to last around an hour, as in previous years.
